Last week I was shaken, as most probably you were, by the news of yet another school shooting at Santa Fe High School in Texas. Heartsick, I questioned whether sending this post with a consultation offer was the right thing to do. But because it is about women, and power, and our relationship to power and money, I decided it was exactly the right thing to do. We need a new story.

We just had a major astrological event: Uranus, the Great Awakener entered the sign of Taurus. Uranus as “Goddess of change and creative chaos”, (http://chaninicholas.com/2018/05/horoscopes-for-uranus-in-taurus-may-2018-april-2026/)

is an evolutionary force associated with the starry sky, lightning, earthquakes, Kundalini and technological innovation. Taurus is earthy, sensual, grounded, determined, slow, comfort and security loving. Bringing these two energies together can be challenging. It calls for radical changes in our relationships to the material world: Mother Earth. Our bodies. And money.

It has been 84 years since Uranus was in Taurus so be prepared for a major shift. This could bring flashes of intuitive insight, radical new knowing. Whatever is coming to you, it will probably involve some surprises.

The word money comes from the Latin moneta (money, mint, a place for coining money, coin) from the name of the temple of Juno Moneta which stood on the Arx or the citadel on the Capitoline Hill overlooking the Roman Forum. Moneta is the name of both the Goddess memory (Mnemosyne) and Juno Moneta money and mint. Mnemosyne was the daughter of Uranus (Sky god) and Gaia (Earth mother). Juno Moneta was also known as the Goddess of Good Counsel, Advisor, Warner. Here is another indication of the enormous shift underway bringing sky and earth, spirit and matter together. It is particularly relevant, powerful, urgent, for women to harness these energies and reclaim her sovereignty in the material world.

This is a time to change our relationship to the material world. To the Earth. To our bodies. And to our money.
